Beckoning Designs was officially launched in September 2008.
The concept of Beckoning Designs was founded by Beck Thompson in 1998.
Beck Thompson is a stationery designer, creator, and mum of 3. She has a passion for creating stationery that is stylish, simplistic and easy to use.
Where It All Began
Our first product; our unique and modern address book, was created out of frustration at how out-dated the a-z address book was. I felt it was too time consuming and there were too many choices for storing certain numbers. I wanted something that was simple and easy to use and remember every time. I wanted to create something that I could instantly retrieve any number at any time.
So after much research and design, I developed an address book with 7 categories, which reflected our main areas of life and it was these categories that the majority of our contacts would fall into.
What we believe we created was an address book for the modern woman. An address book which is reflective of her time and her busy lifestyle. Simple, stylish and easy to use.

Our guest book service extends to brides, boutique B&B's, special events and corporate events.
We also service the gift industry with our range of handmade address books, journals, gift cards and notebooks.

All of our products are individually hand bound in our country Victorian studio (Australia), so you know you're getting a quality product that has been made with a great deal of passion and expertise.
We do not mass produce our products. Our focus is on creating quality products with a unique element of design and function.
