What is the new layout?
The new layout consists of seven contemporary categories. It is all about simplifying your choices for storing and retrieving numbers, so you can access them at a moments notice. Where with the old A-Z system you have numerous choices for storing say, your doctor's details, with our new system, you simply have one easy decision to make.
Our categories were made up according to extensive market research and were created from major sectors of an average person's life.
The seven categories are:
- Family
- Friends
- Finances
- Health & Beauty
- Services
- Leisure
- Miscellaneous
As you can see from the listed categories, you can immediately cross reference where a lot of your regular numbers would go.
What are the features of the new layout?
Simplified and easy to use tabs
Only contains seven tabs
Saves you time
Access your numbers at a moments notice
Because it's based on categories, you don't need to alphabetise your contacts
Easy to use reference for birthdays & anniversaries
What additional new features are in this address book?
We've made a special section at the front for special dates, birthday and anniversaries. The birthdays and anniversaries section is divided into months, with two columns for Name and Date.
To insert someone's birthday, simply write their name in the Name column and their date in the Date column. Immediately you have and easy and quick reference to all birthdays in the one month.
What do each of the categories mean?/How does it work?
Below we will describe each of the seven categories and give you an example of number/contacts to put in each.
Please note, examples are provided as a guide and may vary with each individual.

What if I have a number that's temporary?
With temporary numbers, you have two choices
- Write your temporary number in the category it relates to in pencil, so you can erase it when you're done
- Write your temporary number in the Miscellaneous tab. Again, this can be written in pencil also, depending on how temporary the number is.
What if I have a number that doesn't fit into any of the categories?
If you have a number which doesn't belong in any other category, you simply put it in the Miscellaneous category.
Tips for using your address book
So you get the maximum longevity to using your new address book, we recommend you write your contact's address and phone details in pencil, that way, when the details change, you don't have to have any unsightly markings. Simply erase and edit.
