By purchasing a Guest Book, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out below.
Your satisfaction is important to us, please address any questions you may have regarding the details of ordering a guest book before purchasing.
We have compiled a set of Q&A which covers general information about our guest books. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to email us at anytime for your specific requirements at info@beckoningdesigns.com.au
How we recommend using the guest book.
A guest book should be viewed as more than just a sign in and comments book. Particularly for weddings and special occasions, the bride and groom often can't take in everything that was said and done throughout the day and night.
We encourage the guest book to be used as a way to narrate the days events from the guest's view. So if you can, have the guest write about the ceremony, the reception, and the little details in between, such as; what the guests on each table talked about, how they viewed the couple, what they loved about the day, whilst still encouraging guests to write their message to the couple etc.
For the bride and groom, the guest book becomes a beautiful story of the day from so many perspectives and something the newlyweds can enjoy reading and talking about after the big day.
Guest Books FAQ
How long will it take to complete my guest book?
Each of our Guest Books are hand made to order.
Due to the intricate process of handcrafting each guest book, we require a minimum of 3-4 weeks notice to produce them. Completed guest books are generally delivered 1 week prior to your required day by Registered Australian Post. Therefore, please allow at least 3 weeks notice, to ensure your guest book arrives by your required date.
Why does it take so long to complete a guest book?
Each guest book is hand made from scratch. We employ specific bookbinding techniques to ensure that your guest book is of the highest quality both in its form AND function. Once the guest book has been made, it must also spend time resting to allow the full function of the book to be utilised. For optimal results the completed book should rest for up to a week.
What if I require a guest book under 3-4 weeks?
This is a possible option . If you'd like it at short notice, we require absolute minimum 2 weeks before your wedding date. Our guest books can be made quicker if you opt for no cover inscription and no front page inscriptions.
Does a guest book ever require more than 4 weeks?
We absolutely advise a min 4 weeks to produce your book. The main reason it may take longer is communication between client and our design service. Because we need to confirm every step of the design of your guest book with you, if there are delays in the client getting back to us, this slows down the process of completing your guest book, as we do not proceed until everything has been confirmed. We will notify you of this at the beginning and during the process. Our aim is to complete guest books within the time frame we allow and where possible even earlier. To avoid delays we need confirmation of your guest book design as early as possible.
Ordering Guest Books in Peak Periods
Our peak period runs from September - March, we therefore require more notice to prepare your guest book.
Clients are encouraged to order their guest books for wedding and special occasions, particularly during our peak season at least four weeks in advance, to ensure it arrives on time.
